Sell buckets ten at a time. The pass lives in their wallet.

Prepaid bucket cards keep your regulars coming to your range — and a card in their Apple or Google Wallet doesn't fade, tear, or stay home in the other golf bag. It counts down with every bucket and tops up at the counter.

Counter-speed, range-proof

Golfer walks in, you scan the card and tap "Use a visit" — one bucket off the pass, card updated in their wallet within seconds. Sim sessions work the same way: sell ten, count them down. When the pass runs out, take payment however you already do and add the next block in a tap.

The scanner is just a phone or tablet at the counter. No integration with your ball dispenser, till, or booking sheet — nothing to break.

Fill the quiet hours

A coupon — "free bucket this week", shared as a link — brings new golfers in the door. And when you need to say something useful ("covered bays open, rain or not"), a message to every pass holder lands on their lock screen.

Questions ranges ask

How do the bucket passes work?

Golfers buy a block of buckets or sim sessions up front and carry the pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Scanning at the counter counts one off; topping up adds the next block once they've paid.

Does it work for simulator sessions too?

Yes — a visit is whatever you sell in blocks: a bucket of balls, an hour in the sim, a lesson. You name the card and what each visit gets when you set it up.

Do my customers need an app?

No. The card goes into Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which is already on their phone. They scan the code on your counter once, and the card is in their wallet for good.

What does it cost?

NZ$39 a month including GST — one plan, no setup fee, nothing extra per customer. The first 30 days are free and don't need a credit card.
